Gaye Ayton, MA, LMFT (Lic.#LMFT 33944)
Valuing one's authentic nature and the therapeutic relationship as primary, I enjoy working at deep/structural levels toward healing, transformation and integration. My integrative and integral approach to working with clients rests on a foundation of psychodynamic psychotherapy which values and explores how conditioning from previous experience impacts our current perception, experience, behavior and relationships. From this, I integrate a variety of methods including hypnosis, EMDR,EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Compassionate Communication (NVC), East-West Psychology, Integral Psychology, Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Depth Psychology, Dream Analysis, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Attachment Based Couples Therapy, DBT, Mindfulness, Meditation, MBSR, Voice Dialogue, Internal Family Systems, Attachment & Body Based Therapies, Holistic Health Coaching, neuroscience and other methods in order to tailor the therapy to the individual's, couple's or family's specific needs.
