Viktoria Byczkiewicz, MA, N/A (Lic.#)
I am a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. From September 2016 to September 2017, I did practicum training at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center in Oceanside, California, where I developed expertise in treating gender dysphoria and in supporting the families and spouses of transgender clients.

In August 2018, I will begin my pre-doctoral internship at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, providing individual and group psychotherapy, providing psycho-educational services, and conducting assessments.

My dissertation research is focused on grief and loss, specifically bereavement by suicide. I have extensive training in the depth psychological traditions, and my work is informed by attachment theory, neurobiology, metallization techniques, and complexity theory. I bring to my practice a deep regard for authenticity, soul, and the unique narrative of each client I care for.
