I have a Certificate in Eating Disorders from JFK University and continue to take training in this area. I have 12 years experience using EMDR to help clients to clear trauma, including but not limited to bullying, car accidents, choking, sexual, physical, and verbal abuse. I am trained in Dr. Stephen Porges' Safe and Sound Protocol. It is a five hour therapeutic listening program designed to help people "attain a grounded state where they feel safe, connected, calm, and social". Being in such a state can help decrease anxiety, increase social engagement, improve sleep and digestion, improve handwriting and drawing, and improve verbal abilities.
