Hi, my name is Cynthia (Cyndy) Bigbee and my pronouns are she/they. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Eureka Ca. I offer telehealth therapy statewide. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity, and trauma. As your therapist, my primary goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you to freely express yourself, explore your emotions, thoughts, and desires, and find healing and empowerment. I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection and that each person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, respect, and non-judgment. I am trained and utilize a variety of interventions including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, Queer theory, Polyvagal work, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
