My central focus is the creation and maintenance of a strong therapeutic alliance that serves the unique needs of each client. I work best with insightful and motivated individuals, couples, and families, and specialize in meeting the therapeutic needs of boys and men. My integrative approach is rooted in Humanistic and Existential Therapy, utilizing tools from related modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work. I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at the Humboldt Family Service Center. I am also a member of NCAMHP's Board of Directors.
