I have been licensed in the state of California for over 10 years as a psychologist. I first came to Humboldt many years ago as an undergraduate student where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. I then moved on to complete a doctorate from the University of Iowa in Counseling Psychology. In addition to my primary work as a therapist, I also teach part-time in the Psychology Department at Cal Poly Humboldt. I have many years of experience working with people who are experiencing a variety of concerns related to mental health including mood disorders, trauma, relational concerns, and psychotic disorders, as a therapist I specialize in providing research-informed treatment for adults with anxiety, OCD, and related conditions.
