I specialize in OCD and PTSD/trauma using proven behavioral methods such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy.
I am also trained in and have experience working with Social Anxiety, Phobias, General Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB), Tics, Body Dysmorphia, Hoarding, and Depression.
My approach is largely behaviorally based and, in addition to ERP and PE treatment, I bring in elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT).
I approach our work together from a humanistic and systemic perspective. I bring my genuine and authentic self to sessions, meaning that we will be serious when needed, I will push you to challenge yourself at times, and there will elements of humor woven through our work together as well.
I have experience working with women, men, college aged individuals, LGTBQ+ individuals, postnatal women, gamers, and others. In terms of OCD themes, I have experience working with most subtypes including Pure O, scupulosity, contamination, existential, sexual, postpartum, harm, relationship, perfectionism, somatic (body sensations/processes), real event, just right, false memory, driving, meta, health, and mental health themes as well as other lesser known subtypes.
